TT results August 8th
The last 10 mile event of the season was rather overcast and with a moderate breeze, not what we had hoped for on an August evening.
Ashley Martin was fastest overall clocking 23 minutes exactly.
Peter Crease (RNRMCA) had a crash on the mini roundabout at Ilchester, cause as yet unknown, but no other vehicle was involved so either gravel or the poor road surface are the most likely culprits. Once again a passing nurse has come to our rescue. She checked him over and then whisked him off, complete with bike, to Yeovil Hospital. His injuries were mainly cuts and grazes as far as we know. We wish you a speedy recovery Peter. And before you ask the damage to the bike is not known either!
The first of four 5 mile events to round off the season starts at 6:45 next week.
